First Response . . .
It may seem like an unusual name for real estate services. After all, you’re buying or selling a home, not putting out a house fire! But for me, it makes perfect sense. And after you get to know me, I think you’ll agree.
I have been a Paramedic/Firefighter for 12 years and a full-time REALTOR® for 8 years, doing both with a common goal in mind: a dedication to service when someone needs it. I have enjoyed stepping into these roles on behalf of my patients and real estate clients. Being with them, and looking out for them, from beginning to end. I take great pride in the details, assuring all angles of care or real estate services have been addressed.
As a first responder, I’m often the first person on the scene of an emergency. I’ve found that the skills I’ve developed in a first responder role are extremely helpful to my clients in my role as their REALTOR®. For example:
Responding Quickly
- In an Emergency: Quick response can be a matter of life and death
- In Real Estate: You won’t have to wonder about whether buyers are showing interest in your home for sale. If you’re buying, a quick response can avoid the possibility of losing out on the home of your dreams.
Making Sure You Get What You Need
- In an Emergency: The emergency only gets worse if the first responders are trying to fix the wrong problem. Active listening skills are critical.
- In Real Estate: My ability to quickly identify true needs and wants improves the outcome of your real estate transaction. I’ll be able to identify your most critical objective, to sell your home quickly in preparation for a move. And I’ll choose the sales price and promotional strategy that will be most effective. If you’re buying, you’ll know that the neighborhoods I recommend will fit your family’s budget and lifestyle.
Protecting Your Best Interest
- In an Emergency: Tough negotiations are carried out continuously. Negotiating with patients to prevent them from causing themselves further injury, with crowds to keep them out of the way and out of danger, and the list goes on
- In Real Estate: Part of my role is to protect your family and your assets. I’ll actively negotiate the terms of a sale to protect your interests.
Ensuring the Situation is Resolved on a Positive Note
- In an Emergency: I’ve been trained not to give up – as a Paramedic not on a patient. As a Firefighter, not on the smallest possibility of saving a family’s treasured possessions.
- In Real Estate: Real estate transactions don’t always go smoothly. New negotiation issues arise, and financing roadblocks are sometimes encountered. We’ll work together through any twists and turns to get the results you deserve.
When you’re ready to make a move, call me. You’ll receive knowledgeable and on-time service from a down-to-earth, hard-working REALTOR® who will calmly guide you through your next real estate transaction to a very satisfying conclusion.
